Maria is a passionate educator from the South Side of Milwaukee with over 10 years of experience mentoring youth. She has taught coding, science, and Spanish, and has worked with the Boys & Girls Club. With a degree in Applied Physics and experience as a Project Engineer, Maria champions diversity in STEM as a Hispanic woman in construction. She is dedicated to empowering the next generation through programs like LatinX Digital Leaders Now, which inspired her own journey into STEM.
